A shorter list, then someone watching it.

1 Start with the good ones

Of 8,574 entire homes here, 1,390 clear our bar — 4.95+ overall and in every category, still reviewed this year.

2 Book it refundable

On Airbnb, as always. Free cancellation makes it an option rather than a commitment.

3 We keep looking

Something better opens, or a price drops — you hear about it while cancelling still costs nothing.

Booking options

Refundability is read from the actual rate plan, not the wording. A 24-hour grace period does not count as free cancellation.

Rating

Everything here already clears 4.95 overall and on every subscore. These are stricter still.

Neighbourhood

Familiar names first — each one covers whole areas as the city records them, since that is as precise as the source data allows. The official names still work.
